Winter Wonderland French Toast
1 cup of Dean Whole Milk
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
6 slices of bread (day-old white or French works best)
1. Beat together the eggs, milk and spices.
2. Heat griddle or skillet to medium high and add enough butter or vegetable oil to prevent sticking. Dip each slice of bread in the milk mixture, soaking both sides.
3. Cook on each side until golden brown. Keep in a warm oven until ready to serve.
4. Just before serving, add a dusting of “snow” by sprinkling sugar on top. Serve with maple syrup and butter.
